Job Title: Astoria Hotel Housekeeping room attendant  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Weekend, Day

Salary: $10.50 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Gratuities, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable


Experience: 1 to less than 7 months


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Hotel


Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, Wax and polish floors, Dust furniture, Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, Make beds and change sheets, Distribute clean towels and toiletries, Stock linen closet, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Handle and report lost and found items, Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, Provide basic information on facilities, Pick up debris and empty trash containers, Wash windows, walls and ceilings, Clean changing rooms and showers


Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses not paid by employer


Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check


Own Tools/Equipment: Uniform


Work Location Information: Rural community
