Job Title: Edge Control Ski shop retail clerk (& Ski Rental clerk)  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $9.40 to $12.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Commission

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Jasper, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Specialty shop, Rental shop, Clothing store, Footwear store, Sporting goods store


Type of Experience: Salesperson/clerk


Product Experience/Knowledge: Men's clothing, Women's clothing, Footwear, Sports equipment and clothing


Specific Skills: Operate cash register, Customer service oriented, Set up displays of merchandise in windows or display cases, Process money, cheque and credit/debit card payment, Provide advice about merchandise, Work with minimal supervision, Perform minor repairs to products or equipment


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Computer use


Other Information:-Accommodation is not provided.-Must downhill ski and/or snowboard.-Hiking and/or climbing experience would be an asset.
