Job Title: Smitty's Line cook (restaurant)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $12.50 to $15.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Gratuities, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Jasper, Alberta (3 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Some high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Cook Categories: Line cook


Work Setting: Restaurant


Cuisine Specialties: Canadian


Food Preparation Specializations: Eggs and dairy, Cold kitchen (salads, appetizers, sandwiches), Cereals, grains and pulses, Meat, Poultry, Fish


Types of Meals/Food Prepared: Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners


Specific Skills: Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions, Work with minimal supervision, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.), Clean kitchen and work areas


Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Rural community

Other Information:Possible advancement to management for the right person. We are a well established business with ample knowledge and ability to train. We are located across from the Info Centre in the middle of town.
