Job Title: Sunwapta Falls Resort Food and beverage server (Dining Room Server)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Evening
Salary: $8.80 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Gratuities
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Jasper, Alberta (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Smart Serve
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Squirrel
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Setting: Restaurant, Formal dining room
Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection, Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
Additional Skills: Assist customers with special needs, Balance cash and record sales
Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Significant use of memory
