Job Description: * Take reservations; check Guests in & out; answer telephone; handle and balance cash, process credit card transactions * Previous Front Desk experience required, with knowledge of Jasper and surrounding area * Provide Guests with tourist information; local attractions; directions, restaurants, and other related information * 100% responsible for Guest Satisfaction * Required to work day shift (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ) + evening shifts (2:30 to 10:00 p.m.), week days, weekends and holidays. * General front office and other related duties * Preference to candidates from Jasper/Banff/Lake Louise/Canmore area and surrounding area, and someone willing to relocate for several years, as this position is a full time 7 months a year, 3/4 time 3 months (Jan/Feb/Mar), off November & December, great opportunity to travel and experience the world, and visit family and friends. Requirements/Qualifications/Certifications: * Dynamic, energetic, with friendly personality a must * Computer skills, organizational skills, multi-task, detail oriented, problem solver and self motivated * Problem solver - skilled in handling guest issues and resolving them * Knowledge of the Jasper area and Canadian Rockies a definite asset * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and a team player * Able to commit to a minimum of 2 years. * Professional appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality requirement, second to none.
