Responsibilities 
Provide upbeat, professional service that goes above and beyond our guests’ expectations
Staying up to date on all Pursuit products, discounts and promotions is key
Attention to detail and effective communication skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest is the most important aspect of this position 
This is a multi-faceted position
Coordinating guests and tour groups in the dining area
Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas
Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency
The responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
Provide table service, function service, hosting, food running, bartending, etc.
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
Provide guests with exceptional service at all times
Stocking and maintaining product levels
Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours
Attend and serve during buffet lunch, this includes: clearing and setting tables and assisting kitchen with restocking the buffet
Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees


Qualifications 
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Excited by the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
Previous guest service and cash handling experience
Previous serving experience
Handle stress in a professional manner
Current Alberta Pro Serve (required)
Excellent organizational skills
Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude
Second language, an asset
Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
Must meet the grooming and appearance standards

Work Environment 
Contract dates;
Now to October 2019
Typically 5 days on/2 days off
6 days on/1 day off during peak periods
Split shifts as per schedule
Days off may change with each schedule and depend on business level
Long weekends may incur schedule changes
Expect 35 – 44 hours per week depending on business levels
Dress shirt will be issued on arrival
Servers and Attendants need to provide black dress pants and black shoes
Eligible for end of season performance and retention bonus
