Head barista role available for start up cafe in Jasper National Park in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
Sunhouse Cafe is seeking an experienced and passionate barista to head up the coffee program for our new cafe in Jasper National Park. Applicants should have a genuine love for making coffee and a sense of adventure. The position would commence May, 2018.
The role would include ~
- Implementing systems to ensure great coffee and good customer flow in a busy, small space.
- Help in the training of new, less experienced staff.
- Dialling in the new equipment.
- Taking a hands on role behind the machine throughout service.
Sunhouse Cafe will have a strong focus on producing great espresso coffee and batch brewed single origins and we'll be using new, quality equipment to ensure you'll be able to work at your best. Coffee will be paired with a simple, tasty menu in the style of the contemporary Australian cafe. The location is superb with views across the rockies out all windows.
The right applicant would either have or be willing to get a Canadian Working Holiday Visa and commit to a period of at least 4 months at which point they could stay on and enjoy the snow or continue their travels. Accomodation is available.
