Job Title: JASPER SOURCE FOR SPORTS Retail sales associate
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Jasper, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Sporting goods store
Type of Experience: Salesperson/clerk, Rental clerk
Product Experience/Knowledge: Footwear, Sports equipment and clothing
Specific Skills: Operate cash register, Customer service oriented, Set up displays of merchandise in windows or display cases, Process money, cheque and credit/debit card payment, Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, Provide advice about merchandise, Suggest ways to care for goods, Suggestive selling, Work with minimal supervision, Perform minor repairs to products or equipment, Perform major repairs to products or equipment, Arrange for repairs to products or equipment
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Computer use, Continuous learning
