Columbia Icefield Glacier Building cleaner
Seasonal, Full Time, Night
Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus
Anticipated Start Date: 2006/04/14
Location: Jasper, Alberta (2 vacancies)
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: No experience
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Commercial building
Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, Wax and polish floors, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Handle and report lost and found items, Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, Pick up debris and empty trash containers, Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer.
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check (abstract).
Work Location Information: Room and board provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Essential Skills: Working with others
Other Information: 80 hours per two week period. 4 days on, 3 days off 1st week then 3 days on and 4 days off second week. Employment is at the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park. Subsidized accommodation provided at the Columbia Icefield.
