Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Micros, Point-of-sale system, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, General office equipment
Ability to Supervise: 20 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Budgetary Responsibility: 0 - $100,000
Work Setting: Restaurant, Bar, Banquet hall, Hotel
Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Implement operational procedures, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, reconciliation and related forms, Control inventory, Respond to customer complaints, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, Train staff, Conduct performance reviews, Supervise staff, Customer service oriented
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned
