Restaurant Deli Cashier: Job Brief

· The Deli Cashier is part of a five person service team including Ordermaker, Server A, Server B and Deli Supervisor

· Each position has its own duties however each position will be trained to cover any other Deli position for any length of time depending on scheduling.

· The lodge is a very busy remote location serving guests from all over the world

· Your main focus is your cash. You are responsible for all customers coming through the line.

Responsibilities and Duties

· You must remain at your cash station to accommodate customers moving through the café for most of the day

· Make sure you keep your head up and continue with cleaning duties when you have no customers.

· You are responsible for the proper reconciliation of each cash out

· A nice thing about this position is that there are very few other duties besides cashier J

Qualifications and Skills

· This position requires some previous customer experience. Serving experience is not required. Cashier experience is very much an asset

· To work in the Deli, you need to have good customer service skill and be able to be part of the Deli team.

All customers are required to wear a mask in public spaces. Staff form a bubble. No COVID cases in 2020.

Greeting and seating customers
Taking, confirming orders and relaying to the kitchen or bar staff
Serving food
Serving alcohol
Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
Prep or side work
Preparing bill and processing payment
Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes
Reconciling daily cash transactions
