Position Summary

The Director of Technical Oversight & Client Expectations will serve as a member of the Business Development & Sales team. The primary responsibility of the position is to facilitate and train on the in-field components of Performance Management, Catastrophe Response, and Estimating Skill. Director of National Performance will support the network with field operations, improving efficiency in job management, and adherence to carrier SLA programs. This position will also be responsible to assist the Business Development and Sales teams with network trainings focused on program guidelines and expectations along with supporting our carrier partners vendor management team with onsite reinspection’s, customer concerns, estimate accuracy, operational process, and pricing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Assist the Business Development team members with network trainings focused on program guidelines and expectations along with supporting our carrier partners vendor management team
Efficiently address customer concerns and escalations as they pertain to quality and daily operational excellence
Work closely with other corporate teams to develop problem solve and develop improvements based on trend analysis of internal performance
Project team lead regarding improving scorecard performance on technical and process workflow including but not limited to cycle time, estimate accuracy, operational process, and pricing
Coordinate’s emergency, contents and repair projects along with writing and reviewing mitigation, contents, and reconstruction estimates.
Assists during Catastrophe events, including deploying to the locations
Train and facilitates continuous improvement in office locations on effective scoping, estimating writing, job budgeting, customer service and internal job management software
Assists in onboarding and training new team members to provide technical training
Client relations and client account management; attend/lead client meetings virtually or in person – conduct client review meetings
Attend various industry and client events to represent the brand
All other duties as assigned

Ability to create estimate and documentation reviews in a timely manner
Ability to review water mitigation and mold estimates
Ability to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)

Ability to pass and maintain a satisfactory background check
Ability to maintain a level of confidentiality

Required Education and Experience

Associate or College Degree
5 plus years’ experience with estimation principles for the insurance industry
Some supervisory/management experience in claims and people management is considered an asset
Preferred Education and Experience

Personnel management and coaching experience
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years work experience in claims or related field
Restoration industry experience

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop or kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone
Occasionally may need to ascend and descend a ladder to perform re-inspections
Occasionally will lift up to 25lbs
Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle
Work Environment

The employee will be working indoors and will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office and possible louder than normal noises during onsite reinspection’s. The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and may be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials on job sites reinspection’s and catastrophe locations. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision.

Travel

This position may require up to 30% travel. This position may require travel to franchise locations, trainings, customer’s home, catastrophe locations, and team meetings.
