POSITION: Cost Control Clerk
Wage: TBD based on experience
The Cost Control Clerk is an integral part of the Accounting Department at Mountain Park Lodges. This individual will be responsible for a variety of duties, including updating invoices, inputting & balancing data, and investigating cost variances. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent organization skills and attention to detail, is good with computers, and is comfortable working in a confidential environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Update all food and beverage invoices into purchase management database.
•	Input all physical inventories into the cost calculation worksheet at month end
•	Verify all closing inventory values and update product pricing information monthly
•	Produce and review all cost calculations and journal entries with the Accountant
•	Balance all purchase data to actual invoices using reports provided within beverage management system
•	Investigate and resolve any inventory variances
•	Prepare and review cost of sales management report and review with Accountant
•	Assist the Chief Cashier with the preparation of daily deposits from time to time at the discretion of the Accountant
•	Responsible for assisting with physical inventories of month-end food and beverage
•	Responsible for the maintenance and support of the PFW point of sale software used in all gift shops
•	Other responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Minimum grade 12 education
•	Must have a valid Driver’s License
•	Previous accounting experience is an asset
•	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
•	Must possess a working knowledge of various computer software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
•	Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail when completing assigned tasks
•	Must be bondable
•	Must be able to work in a confidential environment
•	Must be able to accept direction and work with a minimum of supervision
•	Must possess the desire to work as a part of a team and work with others to accomplish a common goal
•	Previous office experience required
