We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help oversee the day-to-day operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering a positive work environment for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant.
Motivate, train, and support staff to achieve excellent service standards.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations.
Create and maintain spreadsheets for inventory, cost control and wages.
Oversee daily cash flow, reconcile receipts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Work closely with management to develop strategies for enhancing service, sales, and profitability.
Supervising the floor to ensure that all INNGrill standards and steps of service are met through all guest interactions.
Ensuring that checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the team.
Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
Ensure staffing levels are accurate based on restaurant, events, and hotel business levels. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the team, such as house count and menu changes.
Communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions, and provide accurate information.
Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situation and/or heavy restaurant and hotel activity, serving as a role model for the team and other hotel team members at large.
Ensure basic standard operating procedures for all facilities under Food & Beverage are in place and are in compliance with Federal, Provincial, local and INNGrill’s own practices.
Ensuring that all steps of services as outlines in training materials are being followed on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
Ability to work early morning shifts and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Valid ProServe certification is required.
