Haul Truck Operator

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts

Heavy Equipment Operators are integral to the safe, efficient, and productive operation at Conuma’s mine sites. We are looking for individuals who have:

At least 2–5 years’ experience operating equipment in an open-pit mining environment.
Physical capability to perform the requirements of the role safely and effectively, including climbing ladders to equipment, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Willingness and ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts on a 7x7 rotation.
Ability to remain focused and detail-oriented in all weather conditions and throughout all shift hours.
Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
A strong personal commitment to safety.
Demonstrated reliability and dependability, supported by a strong attendance record.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
First Aid/Mine Rescue Training considered an asset.
As a Haul Truck Operator, you will:

Operate rigid-frame haul trucks such as Komatsu 830E, HD1500, Caterpillar 785C, 789C, 793F, or similar, safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures to transport overburden, waste rock, and coal.
Operate other equipment as assigned.
Complete pre-trip inspections, FLHAs, and other reports as required.
Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
Communicate clearly and effectively using 2-way radios.
Work collaboratively with team members to safely achieve production targets.
Wages and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $40.03
Bonus Pay: Up to $25,000* extra annually through monthly and quarterly bonuses
