Full job description
Eton-West Construction is looking for a LOCAL EXPERIENCED CARPENTER with commercial construction experience for our Jasper Hostel Rebuild Project. The project is expected to run until May / June 2027. Reporting to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, you will be involved in the day-to-day operation on the job site. Tasks include, but are not limited to, working hand and power tools, reading and interpreting construction drawings, staging materials, rough carpentry, roof carpentry, plywood sheathing, heating and hoarding, and minor concrete forming. You will participate in our safety program and preferably have a valid first aid certificate. Eton-West Construction is committed to high standards, accountability, and long-term relationships. Skills Required:

· Carpenter hand tool and power tool experience.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

· Flexibility with schedule. Evening and weekend work is sometimes required.

· Valid Alberta driver’s licence, your own vehicle, and ability to travel locally as needed.

· Ability to both work alone and as part of a team.

Compensation:

Hourly wage typically ranges from $32-39 per hour and will be negotiated based on your skills and experience. Compensation package also includes participation in the company benefit plan (medical, dental, vision).

Pay: $32.00-$39.00 per hour
