Nu Edge Construction is currently hiring a Rural Pipelayer. This role would be joining Nu Edge Construction Ltd.’s workforce as a valuable colleague!

Details:

Start Date: April 2026
Duration: Seasonal Position
Shift: Monday to Saturday. Overtime as required.
Location: Rural Alberta
Training: 2 Years Working the Water & Sewer Industry
What you do:

Installation of graded pipe, manholes, catch basins and other associated structures
Installation of fittings, valves, tee’s, bends and hydrants
Ability to monitor and ensure accurate backfill of pipe and knowledge of exposing existing utilities
Experience working around buried utilities
Knowledge of barrel/rotating lasers
Comply with Health and Safety Codes and Legislation
Use all devices and PPE designated and provided for protection required under the OHS Code
What background and skills qualify you:

Pipelayer: 2 Years (Preferred)
CSTS (Required)
WHIMIS (Required)
Confined space (Preferred)
Must have large concrete pipe installation experience
Ability to submit all Safety Tickets upon hiring
Class 5 License

Must have previous experience with large concrete pipe
Strong mechanical aptitude
You have a positive attitude and are eager to learn
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Able to perform physically demanding work that may include carrying heavy objects, and using various equipment
Labor intensive work at times
Must be able to work with heavy machinery
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisor
