Loader Operator w/Gravel Pit Experience
Full-time, Seasonal (May-late September/early October)

West-Can Seal Coating Inc. (WCS) is a privately owned highway maintenance company specializing in pavement preservation and roadway construction across Western Canada for almost 40 years completing contracts across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba for both public and private sectors.

Job Overview
Our peak season is late May through early October and project locations are anywhere between Alberta and Manitoba. The expectation is to work remotely on the road during our peak season; extended hours of work and overtime will be required. Motel accommodations will be provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

Operate loader in pits, various stockpiling of materials and loading trucks.
Perform pre-trip inspections of machines, and record information on form. Check and fill all fluids daily as required. Lubricate equipment daily as required; clean inside and outside of equipment.
Follow safe working procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience and Requirements

Required to work through various weather elements.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience operating loader
Minimum 18 years of age.
Required to work long hours away from home.
Maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license or better (Valid Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)
Able to provide a 5-year commercial drivers abstract with fewer than 6 demerit points and be insurable.
Able to meet all post-offer and pre-employment fit for duty requirements including drug and alcohol screening.
Must be reliable and available.
Starting $24.00 per hour ($25.00 w/Class 3 license and $30.00 w/Class 1 license)
