The wage for this position is $20/hour.

An end of season performance bonus of up to $1.00 for every regular hour worked once you complete your contract
What will be your daily pursuit?:
The Facilities Maintenance role provides assistance for all maintenance-related requests associated with the Glacier Discovery Centre, Glacier View Inn, Glacier Skywalk and Icefield staff accommodation

What will you do in this job?:
Performing daily maintenance checks
Completing repairs within scope of experience/skill
Following up on maintenance requests
Participating in seasonal annual opening and closing procedures
Booking and coordinating contractors
Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
Previous plumbing, electrical, building and carpentry experience preferred
Class 5 driver’s license (unrestricted), required
Standard First Aid Certification, required (or willing to obtain prior to beginning work)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties, required
Proven ability to complete minor building repairs to proper building standards/codes
Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Dependable, self-motivated and fully capable of working autonomously
Employee and public relations skills and a friendly/cooperative nature
Must enjoy working outdoors, even in challenging mountain weather conditions;
Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy
Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
High attention to detail
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards
