What will you do in this job?:
Laundry Attendants hold the key to creating a restful and relaxing stay for our guests. They have the essential role of making sure every room is clean and sanitized for guests to recharge after their adventures.
Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding linens, towels and other laundry items by size and material
Treat stains and assess damaged linen
Operating washers and dryers and following all safety measures
Ensuring the laundry facilities and surrounding areas remain clean at all times
Lifting at times up to 50 lb and standing for long periods of time
Training of new colleagues
Routine checks on laundry machines, reporting any machine deficiencies to the Supervisor
Strip guest rooms, removing all used linen and towels when necessary
Make beds, change linen, and distribute clean towels and toiletries on request
Carrying of guest luggage up to 30kg when necessary
May talk with guests to provide basic information on facilities and the Jasper area
Stock linen closet and supplies area
Other duties as assigned

Communicate with guests; ability to read, write and speak English

Work with minimal supervision
Work well within a team
What will your work environment be like?:
This fun seasonal role starts immiedately and runs until October 31, 2023.

Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
