SALARY:

First 90 days $50,080.00
After 90 days $54,080.00
DETAILS:

Located in Lake Louise
Valid Open Canadian Work-Permit Required for International Applicants
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage, coordinate & execute group assignments turned over by Sales Department
Monitoring all contractual agreements pertaining to guest room blocks, meeting space, food & beverage & special concessions
Liaising with the client, staff and in-house services to ensure all event details are arranged as per the client’s request
Maintaining solid and open communications with all operating departments. Conduct weekly Communication meeting with the Operations team.
Produce and update BEO’s and resumes as needed and ensure they are distributed to departments
Provide sites of hotel when requested
Handling all Catering Only Events and in-house bookings
Handling the Wedding Market, including sites, contracts, BEO’s, room blocks
Meet with catering clients at the beginning of each day to review schedules to ensure all needs are met
Liaise with accounting to ensure that invoices are sent and filed accordingly
Collecting pre-payments or deposits owing after file turnover
Follow-up calls post event – communicating information to Sales Team
Leading Communications Meeting on a weekly basis
Assisting with Tour Groups during tour season
Assisting with follow-up with clients to maintain accurate wash/pickup
Enter all rooming lists into systems
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two-year college degree or equivalent preferred
One-year related experience ideally in Sales or Events Coordinaton. Guest Services, Front Desk and/or Food & Beverage is preferred
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Experience with Opera and Delphi and Sales Force preferred
Previous administrative duties preferred
Ability to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment
Minimum one-year commitment
