Job Title: Rental/Retail Sales Coordinator
Reports To: Rental/Retail Assistant Supervisor, Rental/Retail Supervisor, Rental/Retail Manager
Employment Type: Seasonal

Position Summary:

The Rental/Retail Sales Coordinator is a frontline team member responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across the Rental Shop, Retail Stores, and Online operations. This role is hands-on and focused on guest experience, sales execution, accurate transactions, and the smooth operation of rental and retail services. The Sales Coordinator supports daily functions by maintaining inventory, processing transactions, and ensuring the sales floor and rental areas are well-organized, clean, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Sales Support

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service in-person, over the phone, and online
Assist guests with equipment rentals: fittings, safety checks, sizing, and returns
Promote and sell rental/retail products and ski lessons
Process payments accurately using RTP and other POS systems
Answer guest questions about Marmot Basin, maintaing strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat buisness
Retail & Rental Operations

Receive, unpack, label, and restock merchandise and rental inventory
Organize displays and maintain visual merchandising standards
Perform basic rental equipment maintenance and cleanliness checks
Maintain awareness of current stock levels and communicate restocking needs
Handle rental reservations, verify report accuracy, ensure timely setup of rentals, and waiver processing after customer pick up.
Support online store fulfillment: pulling, packing, and shipping items
System Use & Administrative Tasks

Use RTP and Aspenwear to complete transactions, look up bookings, and troubleshoot issues
Assist with tracking orders, returns, and exchanges (in-store and online)
Help manage damanged or defective product returns and replacements
Maintain accurate documentation for inventory counts and product movement
Report discrepancies, guest issues, or maintenance concerns to supervisors promptly
Assit in maintaining records of rental agreements and customer information in accordance with compnay policy
Collaboration & Communication

Follow direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
Coordiate with the team to ensure smooth operations across the department
Support seasonal training efforts by sharing knowledge of processes and products
Uphold all workplace safety procedures, policies, and service standards
Stay informed of promotions, policy updates, and operational notices
Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in customer service, retail, or rental shop environment (required)
Familiarity with ski/snowboard equipment and sizing (required)
Proficient with POS systems (RTP, Square, or similar)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable in a fast-paced, guest-facing role
