Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, takes their orders, and ensures they receive prompt and courteous service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is passionate about food & coffee, possesses excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
Prepare drinks & coffee items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, accurately processing orders and payments
Handle cash transactions efficiently, giving correct change and managing cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Support food industry best practices by following proper food handling procedures and safety protocols
Skills

Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food handling environment
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Restaurant background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
