Vantage Hotels is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Manager to join our growing hospitality team.

This position may be based at any Vantage Hotels location and offers an exciting opportunity for a housekeeping leader who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the housekeeping department, including staffing, training, inspections, productivity, scheduling, inventory management, guest satisfaction, and team development.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend time both managing operations and supporting your team on the floor.


Success in this role requires strong leadership, organization, accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.


What You'll Be Responsible For:

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, coach, and mentor housekeeping team members.
Develop supervisors and future leaders within the department.
Build a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture.
Conduct performance discussions, coaching, and accountability conversations.
Lead daily team meetings and department communication.
Operations Management

Oversee all housekeeping operations including guestrooms, public spaces, laundry, and staff housing areas where applicable.
Create room assignments and daily work plans.
Ensure rooms are cleaned efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate department priorities with Front Desk and Maintenance teams.
Manage room readiness and occupancy demands during peak periods.
Quality Assurance

Conduct inspections and quality audits.
Ensure brand standards and cleanliness standards are consistently achieved.
Monitor guest feedback and address housekeeping-related concerns.
Implement departmental improvement initiatives.
Labour & Productivity Management

Schedule team members based on occupancy forecasts and business demands.
Monitor departmental productivity and labour costs.
Analyze workload distribution and staffing needs.
Identify operational efficiencies while maintaining service standards.
Inventory & Cost Control

Manage department inventory levels and ordering processes.
Monitor linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
Control expenses and reduce waste.
Maintain proper storage and inventory procedures.
Health & Safety

Ensure all team members follow safe work practices.
Support ongoing health and safety training.
Maintain compliance with workplace safety, chemical handling, and housekeeping procedures.
Actively participate in safety initiatives and inspections.

Required Qualifications


Previous hotel housekeeping leadership experience.
Experience leading teams in a hospitality environment.
Strong coaching and employee development skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications

Housekeeping Manager experience within a hotel or resort environment.
Multi-department leadership experience.
Experience with labour forecasting and productivity management.
Experience opening, rebuilding, or scaling hospitality operations.
Knowledge of staff housing operations considered an asset.
