CN Rail is offering a generous incentive package to newly hired Conductors to relocate to Jasper, AB. Details below.

Conductors work as members of two or three person train crews and perform duties associated with the movement of trains, rail cars, and locomotives in rail yards and on the road. They coordinate the assembly of trains and execute any ground work outside the locomotive cab while in the yard or en-route (ex: operating track switches, picking up rail cars, making emergency repairs, etc.).


To those that qualify, CN is prepared to offer the following to conductors that agree to work and relocate to Jasper, AB for a period of no less than two years.


The following is being offered to those that qualify:


The newly hired employee will be provided accommodations in a CN Bunkhouse or Hotel for a period of up to a maximum 60 days in location hired for. (Jasper, AB)
Upon completion of their probationary period, the employee will be entitled to $5000 to assist with expenses associated with their relocation to new location.
Employees who relocate under the provisions set out will be required to maintain their permanent clearance(s) at the assigned location (Jasper, AB) for a period of two calendar years from the date they commence working at such location
Employees who relocate and maintain their permanent clearance (s) at their assigned location (Jasper, AB) will also be entitled to special lump sum allowances (upon completion of year 1 and year 2 of service) ** recruiter will provide further details in interview
Candidate will be considered for the relocation incentive if they are relocating from certain locations, which is up to the discretion of the Company.
