Here at HI Jasper we can offer you that amazing and singular experience. You can stay with us for a season, and then stay the whole year because there is so much on offer, our wild surroundings will be calling to you.

The best thing about working with us is that you can enjoy so many different activities, such as hiking, rock climbing, rafting, biking in summer, and then switch to skiing, ice skating, ice climbing in winter. The full mountain experience guaranteed while working in the newest hostel in the HI Canada network (including brand-new subsidized staff housing). The little extra!? You will be able to visit all the HI hostels around (Lake Louise – Banff – Whistler – etc.) too during your weekends as you will get free stays in any HI hostels!!

What you will be doing as a Night Auditor:

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet, respectable night environment at the hostel in accordance with our policies, procedures, and mission statement.
The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring guests have a pleasurable stay by meeting their needs in a professional and courteous manner, and by providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, performing cash transactions, the night audit, and answering questions in person and over the phone.
Shift schedules and rotations that maximize your ability to get out and explore. Need two days to get out into the wilderness? We’ll make it happen.
