Come join the Overlander Mountain Lodge’s laundry team for the 2025 summer season!

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, contributing to a positive experience for our guests or clients.

Duties

Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items as required.
Inspect laundry for stains or damage and take appropriate action to address issues.
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.
Keep track of inventory levels for laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all laundry operations.
Assist with special projects or additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends or holidays as needed.
