Job Overview
onsistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment
Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to HVAC
Ensure all work done in the HVAC department is in compliance with federal and provincial codes and regulations
Ensure all power tools are in good and safe working conditions
Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule based on volume of business  
Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues
Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance
Communicate effectively and professionally with both guests and colleagues
Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
Other duties as assigned

English Fluency Level required for position
Intermediate
Job Requirements 
Your experience and skills include:

High school and/or technical school education required
Provincial Journeyperson’s certificate for Province of Alberta required
Background HVAC experience or general knowledge of the trade required
Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications required ( Word, Excel & Power Point )
Gas Fitting Ticket an asset
Valid Alberta driver’s license required    
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
