Looking for a job in the mountains? Join our tight knit team at the lake. Patricia Lake Bungalows is a family owned and operated cabin resort, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is organized, hardworking, and brings a positive attitude to their work.

Work Term
Mid April to Mid October

Position Summary
In this role, you will assist with the daily upkeep and maintenance of all guest units and the property. Workdays are varied and may involve ongoing projects as well as responding to maintenance issues in guest units. Tasks can include painting, gardening, installing fixtures, or repairing plumbing issues. No two days are the same! Some overnight on call shifts are required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor
Ground repairs and assist with landscaping duties
Perform general carpentry, minor plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywalling, and finishing tasks
Inspect buildings and equipment and complete preventative maintenance to ensure safe working conditions
Complete assigned daily maintenance tasks and work orders
Requirements

Minimum of one year of general or hotel maintenance experience
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required, Class 3 is an asset
Carpentry experience or experience in a related trade
General knowledge of power tools and basic machinery
Basic understanding of plumbing is a strong asset
