Lead the Rebirth of an Iconic Mountain Hotel

The Role

Mount Robson Inn is rising again — rebuilt, re‑imagined, and ready to welcome a new era of mountain hospitality. We’re searching for a General Manager who isn’t just excited about running a hotel, but about building one from the ground up.

This is your chance to lead a brand‑new property shaped by resilience, craftsmanship, and the spirit of the Rockies. Supported by our Director of Operations, you’ll:

Build operational systems and service standards for a hotel reborn
Craft unforgettable guest experiences that set the tone for a new legacy
Hire, coach, and inspire a team ready to grow with the property
Establish financial and performance foundations for long-term success
Partner with People & Culture to create a workplace where inclusion, belonging, and mountain‑kind leadership thrive
This isn’t walking into an existing routine — this is helping create the blueprint.

About You

You’re the kind of leader who thrives on possibility. A “Rebuilder‑in‑Chief.” A trailblazer who knows that every great summit starts with someone willing to take the first step.

You bring the calm confidence to open a hotel, the grit to solve challenges, and the vision to transform a rebuild into a renaissance. You know operations inside and out — from PMS to guest recovery, from forecasting to facilities — and you bring the same clarity to coaching a leader as you do to troubleshooting a furnace.

Most important: you lead with heart.
You celebrate your team. You listen with intention. You bring steadiness, warmth, and high standards without losing the joy of the climb. You believe hospitality starts with people — and a new hotel offers the rare chance to shape culture from day one.

What Comes With the Climb

Competitive salary with bonus opportunities
Leadership coaching and tailored growth pathways
Supportive mentorship as you guide a reopening
Flexibility and wellness time for when the mountains call
A once‑in‑a‑lifetime chance to define the future of a rebuilt, iconic hotel
Your Moment in the Mountains

If you’re reading this and feel the pull of possibility — welcome home.

This is your chance to build something that lasts.
To craft a workplace where excellence doesn’t need reminders because it was baked into the foundation.
Where culture grows intentionally.
Where a hotel rises again not just from construction, but from shared purpose.

If you’re the kind of leader who finds joy in the climb, who sees opportunity in fresh snow and strength in rebuilding — the trail starts here.

Mount Robson Inn is ready for its next chapter.
Are you ready to lead it?
