DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage arrivals and departures of tour groups, welcome tours upon their arrival to the hotels, prepare rooming lists, keys, baggage stickers, coordinate baggage handling and meal vouchers.
Manage all group blocks to ensure room types, rates and billings are correct.
Ensure FITs are correctly and accurately entered in the PMS on a timely basis.
Monitor FIT bookings, promptly update FIT companies and/or extranets for blackout dates.
Troubleshoot group & FIT issues and inform General Manager or Revenue Manager.
Complete and maintain group daily and monthly calendars in a timely and accurate manner.
Act as a key contact for Group and/or FIT companies and promptly respond to requests.
Prepare and amend all contracts for approval and authorization of the Revenue Manager.
Maintain accurate tracking and filing systems, generate reports, build and maintain lasting relationships with group and FIT companies, attend trade shows and identify new opportunities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures related to groups and tours would be beneficial.
Excellent communications skills and ability to independently monitor quality of work performed.
A dedicated customer-first professional focused on providing outstanding customer service.
Good numerical and analytical skills and must be flexible in terms of availability or working hours.
Ability to independently prioritize own work-flow in a fast-paced team environment.
