Reports to: Rental/Repair Supervisor & Asst Supervisor / Ski School Director

General Responsibilities of a Tech Shop Attendant:
Greet customers with a friendly/positive attitude.
Be willing to educate anybody who approaches the repairs/tuning bench with questions and curiosities.
Be competent fixing snowboard bindings in a timely manner with limited parts.
Provide consistent results with your ski/board tuning results.
Willingness to learn any aspect of ski/snowboard tuning/repairs.
Always keep a safety conscious mindset in the shop. Needs to be comfortable working with tuning machinery/materials. This includes emergency shut-offs, hazardous materials and many moving parts.
Supplementary:
Respect and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures as set in the “Corporate Policies”, “Employee Handbook”, and “Safety Operations Training Manual”.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a ski/snowboard repair shop is an asset.
Previous experience in any type of repair shop is noted.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, be on your feet all day, and adjust to quickly changing situations.
Willingness to help wherever in the Rentals Department.
Ability to work well under pressure (during busy periods, emergency situations, or difficult customers).
Previous experience in rental shops or ski/snowboard specific industries is valued.
