Are you looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to drive in the beautiful community of Jasper? PWTransit is currently expanding our services and will be operating in the community of Jasper starting in September 2023. We are currently seeking full-time Shuttle Drivers to join our team for early August 2023.

Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing superior customer service and demonstrating strong communication skills, patience, maturity, and initiative.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport passengers safely and according to established policy
Maintain radio contact with base and use proper communications protocol
Operate the shuttle vehicles in a safe manner in all-weather/road conditions
Provide information to and assist passengers in a courteous manner
Manage passenger behavior by quickly and effectively solving problems
Report vehicle maintenance issues, passenger emergencies, and schedule concerns
Conduct pre-and-post trip checks of vehicles prior to/after their use
Complete various forms of paperwork, as required
Assist with driver coverage by driving the shuttle bus
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 or 2Q driver’s license
Clear driver's abstract
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
Negative drug and alcohol testing
Strong knowledge of the Jasper roadways
Physical ability to push/pull wheelchairs up and down a ramp or onto lift
Organized, punctual, and reliable
Calm, upbeat, and helpful manner
Excellent driving skills and habits
Position Details

Service will operate 7 days per week from the hours of 7:45 am to 9:45 pm. The successful drivers would receive 40 hours per week.
