What will be your daily pursuit?:
The Marketing Coordinator for Banff Jasper Collection will support the BJC & larger Pursuit marketing team in the coordination of marketing activities that will drive visitation and revenue growth at BJC. The position is based in Jasper and reports directly to the Marketing and Brand Experience Manager, Jasper. The Marketing Coordinator will also “dotted line” report into the Marketing and Brand Experience Manager, Banff

What will you do in this job?:
Support the Marketing Managers in both Jasper and Banff and the larger Pursuit marketing team with the implementation of marketing initiatives to ensure each line of business within BJC achieves their revenue targets.
Support the project management of seasonal readiness requirements (including signage, collateral, web, and third-party listings) for each line of business within BJC.
Coordinate with the digital team to update content on the BJC website and other digital communications
Support the Marketing Managers with all other tasks as assigned, including executing on local advertising, affiliate and group & event management initiatives, managing creative projects, working with vendors on design & printing projects, supporting business month-end administrative tasks, etc.
Help manage the storage of marketing assets including images, electronic files, and creative archive library within our digital asset management system.
Support the social media and content marketing teams by collecting content in the form of photo and video, as well as responding to comments on our social channels.
Assist with the logistical coordination and implementation of media and influencer marketing visits. This may include on-site hosting, as required.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
1 year marketing experience
Excellent written communication skills
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Tourism
Competent with Microsoft Office (ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Experience with Asana and project management platforms an asset
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva an asset
Experience with photography and videography an asset
Desire to work in a fast-paced organization
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to work as a team but also independently
Valid Canadian Drivers’ License
Ability to travel between Jasper, Banff, Waterton, Calgary and Golden B.C.
