Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Stucco Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying stucco and plaster finishes, with a strong background in construction-related tasks. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic construction environment.

Duties

Apply stucco, plaster, and related finishes to exterior and interior surfaces according to project specifications.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine application requirements and project scope.
Perform caulking and sealing to ensure weatherproofing and durability of finished surfaces.
Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or installing lath when necessary.
Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain safety protocols.
Use hand tools, mixers, and other equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Requirements

Proven experience in stucco application, construction painting, or related trades.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
Carpentry skills and handyman experience are highly desirable.
Ability to perform caulking, sealing, and surface preparation tasks accurately.
Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
