Maligne Lodge Executive Housekeeper

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:
Manage the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department.
Maintain superior quality of housekeeping standards in all areas of responsibility including guest rooms, linen and laundry.
Work with all departments to ensure a quality product and high level of service is provided to our guests at all times.
Conduct inspection tours in areas of responsibility to ensure proper standards of quality, service and cleanliness are met if not exceeded.
Coordinate maintenance repair services so that deficiencies may be corrected promptly.
Train and schedule, motivate and provide discipline to all associates in the department.
Manage, address and resolve staffing issues promptly, discreetly and efficiently.
Ensure all expenditures, including labour, guest room amenities, cleaning supplies and equipment fall within the budgetary guidelines.
Candidate requires:
Previous Managerial experience in housekeeping in a hotel or related industry.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with a positive attitude.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of guests, employees and management.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Legally eligible to work in Canada and to assume duties upon short notice.
