Job Description: The Birch Kitchen and Bar is a well-established and thriving restaurant, known for its exceptional food and welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper. Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using an automated dishwasher or by hand, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning surfaces
Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, peeling potatoes, and assembling ingredients
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and utensils throughout service
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
Requirements:

Prior experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper is preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
