Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team for a Plumbing heating and hvacR company. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing, gas fitting, and related trades within a dynamic construction and maintenance environment. The role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing technical skills and advancing their career in the trades industry. The position is paid and involves working under the supervision of experienced professionals to learn essential skills and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems according to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during various tasks
Support carpentry, HVAC, and construction activities as needed to ensure project completion
Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and layout work
Participate in assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components
Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members
Skills

Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC systems
Experience or familiarity with carpentry, construction, welding, and maintenance tasks
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading for installation processes
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during assembly and troubleshooting tasks
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
