POSITION: Bartender

You love to multi task, including making drinks, communicating with your customers & serving team, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the bar. This position requires some shift work, and is a seasonal position that could lead to a year-round opportunity for the right individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•	Maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude at all times
•	Organize and set up bar at the beginning of each shift
•	Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
•	Mix liquor, soft drinks, water, and other ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
•	Clean, sanitize and maintain bar area, including draft beer system
•	Describe and advise on wine selection
•	Inform customers regarding contents of cocktails or other drinks
•	Collect cash, debit, credit or other payment for beverages
•	Operate Point of Sale System
•	Maintain inventory and control of bar stock and supplies
•	Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS: 
•	Alberta Proserve Certified
•	Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
•	Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages in Alberta
•	Completion of course in mixing drinks an asset
•	3 - 6 months experience preferred
•	Neat and clean in appearance and work habits
•	Pleasing, outgoing personality
•	Knowledge of languages is considered an asset
•	Ability to multitask
•	Excellent communication and organization skills
•	Solid understanding of guest service principles
•	Good knowledge of wine, beer and liquor service
•	Ability to work within a team
Mountain Park Lodges has seasonal and long term positions available starting between the months of April - June.
Required experience:
•	3 - 6 months experience preferred: 1 year
