Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour plus gratuities.

What will you do in this job?:
Maligne lake servers will work in the historic chalet for tour group or private function for buffet or table service. Servers may also be assigned shifts in the Waffle Hut, Lakehouse Café or The View to maximize hours.
Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service
Setting up the buffet for lunch or dinner meal periods, and assist kitchen with restocking throughout service
Bussing and resting tables
Taking beverage orders, preparing beverages, and serving to guests in a timely manner
Coordinating guests and tour groups in the dining area
Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas
Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
Provide guests with exceptional service at all times
Stocking and maintaining product levels
Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours
Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

Previous Food and Beverage experience
Customer service oriented

Pro-serve qualifications
Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude

Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Flexible with work schedule
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards

Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
