Automotive Journeyman Technician, Jasper, AB

Location: Jasper, AB
Pay: $45.00 to $55.00 / hour (straight-time)
Lodging: Subsidized housing is available
Rotation: Optional 7-on/7-off (no paid travel)
Relocation Assistance: Provided

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of our client’s fleet in Jasper, Alberta. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles used to safely transport guests throughout the Canadian Rockies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on:
Light-duty automotive vehicles
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards
Work independently and with the operations team to resolve mechanical issues
Use fleet management systems to track and schedule maintenance
Prepare vehicles for daily guest transportation
Qualifications

Journeyman Automotive Technician or equivalent experience
Experience with fleet, or mixed vehicle maintenance (mini bus & coach experience is an asset)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
Interest in working in a tourism and outdoor-focused environment
