Full job description
Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician
Positions Available: 3
Location: Jasper, Alberta
Housing: Subsidized staff accommodation provided for employee only

Decore Hotels is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our hotel properties in Jasper. This is a jack-of-all-trades role where our team completes repairs in-house rather than calling contractors.

Responsibilities:
Carpentry: Drywall repair, framing, door and lock repair, trim work, minor renovations
Plumbing: Toilets, faucets, drains, piping repairs, unclogging lines
Pools & Hot Tubs: Water testing, filter maintenance, chemical balancing
HVAC: Boilers, furnaces, chillers, thermostats, filter changes
Electrical: Light fixtures, switches, outlets, motors, ballasts, basic wiring repairs
Appliance Repair: Fridges, stoves, microwaves, PTAC/AC units, guest room appliances, laundry equipment
General Maintenance: Painting, room inspections, preventative maintenance, responding to guest repair requests, safety compliance
Perform other duties as requested

Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Stand, bend, kneel for long periods

Requirements:
At least 4 years of hands-on general trade experience
Valid work visa/permit, permanent residence status, or Canadian citizenship
Does not require sponsorship
Criminal Record Check
Driver’s Abstract & 3-year insurance history, mandatory
