About Us

Jasper Food Tours is a locally owned tour company offering unique experiences that connect visitors to the culture, food, and natural environment of Jasper National Park.

Our E-Bike Safari Eco Tour is a guided 25 km adventure through scenic backroads and lakes where guests learn about wildlife, geology, wildfire ecology, and the natural history of Jasper while riding pedal-assist electric bikes.

We are looking for a passionate E-Bike Tour Guide who loves Jasper and enjoys sharing its stories with visitors from around the world.

Important Requirement

Applicants must currently live in Jasper, Alberta and have strong knowledge of Jasper National Park’s history, ecology, geology, and wildlife.

Responsibilities

Lead guided 25 km e-bike tours through Jasper National Park
Provide engaging interpretation about wildlife, ecology, geology, and local history
Ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests throughout the tour
Provide a short orientation on e-bike operation and safety
Manage group pacing and safe riding practices
Assist guests with helmets, bikes, and equipment
Perform bike repair on the fly
Use communication headsets to guide and interpret during the ride
Deliver an outstanding guest experience
Qualifications

Must live in Jasper, Alberta
Strong knowledge of Jasper National Park ecology, geology, and history
Comfortable cycling 40 km per day
Must have a strong understanding of e-bike mechanics and be able to perform repair and maintenance
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Friendly, energetic personality
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather
Preferred Skills

Previous tour guide or outdoor guiding experience
First Aid or Wilderness First Aid certification
Basic IGA
Knowledge of local wildlife and bear safety
Experience working in tourism, guiding, or hospitality
Physical Requirements

Ability to cycle 40 km on paved and gravel paths
Comfortable working outdoors for 8+ hours
Ability to assist guests with bikes and equipment
