Job Overview

Are you passionate about authentic Italian cuisine and the art of hospitality? Cassio’s Trattoria is looking for vibrant, professional, and dedicated Food & Beverage Servers to join our team. The Role

As a Server at Cassio’s, you are the face of our trattoria. You aren’t just taking orders; you are guiding guests through a culinary journey—from recommending the perfect Chianti to explaining the nuances of our handmade pasta.

What You’ll Do

Create Experiences: Provide warm, attentive, and proactive service to every guest.
Master the Menu: Maintain deep knowledge of our food, wine list, and daily specials.
Efficiency & Flow: Manage a station of tables with grace, ensuring timely delivery of courses and drinks.
Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure every plate and pour meets our high standards.
Hospitality Excellence: Handle payments, maintain table cleanliness, and assist with opening/closing duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant (Italian dining experience is a plus!).
Wine Knowledge: Basic understanding of wine pairings and spirits.
The "Vibe": A positive attitude, a polished appearance, and a genuine love for people.
Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Certification: Valid local server certification (e.g., Serving It Right, ProServe, or Smart Serve).

Job Requirements

- Minimum 2-years serving experience.

- Experience with Clover POS is an assest.

- Must have a valid ProServe certificate.

- WHMIS Certification.

- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

- Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices.
