Job Description We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Engineering Coordinator. We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team. The Engineering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, contributing to a problem-free experience for both guests and colleagues. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Assistant Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards Lead the implementation, administration, and ongoing management of Transcendent and ALICE systems for preventative maintenance and work order tracking Perform office administration duties, including payroll preparation, document management, record keeping, and internal communications Act as office administrator for GAIA Maintain and update departmental Health & Safety binders on an ongoing basis Organize, coordinate, and track hotel and residence preventative maintenance programs Coordinate, schedule, and monitor in-house work and external service contractors Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and service standards Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions. Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Strong organizational and time management skills Experience working in a hotel maintenance environment, including preventative maintenance programs Ability to remain flexible and consistently re-prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Previous exposure to departmental accounting and administrative tasks Experience with contractor scheduling and project administration Strong computer skills across Microsoft Windows applications, with the ability to quickly learn web-based systems and software Experience using property management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
