RAPS is Seeking a full time caregiver to assist an individual with Downs syndrome (E10)

Location : Jasper AB

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Daytime * 8 hours daily. Start Date July 1st.

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Mobility assistance, personal care (bathing, dressing and toileting) medication administration, assist in regular exercise and support on outings, meal preparation and feeding assistance, participation in activities and volunteer positions (light hiking, swimming, community events), light housework and laundry, supervision and companionship.

The ideal candidate will be outdoorsy and active. Enjoying the outdoor offers of Jasper.

Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, first aid/CPR certificates and have the Health Care aide Certificate with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Preference will be given to those with a class 5 driver’s license and vehicle

The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to Jasper at candidates cost*
