We are a seasonal property with positions starting May 6, 2026 until October 2026.


Repairs Attendant: Job brief

The Maintenance Repairs Attendant position is part of a four-man team including Property Maintenance, Repairs Attendant and Supervisor.
Each position has its own duties however each position must be willing to be trained to cover any other maintenance position for any length of time depending on scheduling.
The desire to learn and grow at a remote off grid lodge that uses generators for power and treats its own water.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Repairs Attendant is responsible for property rounds, minor repairs to guest and staff room, Generator room, Restaurant and Heritage Lodge trouble shooting. Propane and diesel deliveries and guests’ requests, as well as ongoing projects to improve the property and hotel rooms.
Depending on the schedule there are many other tasks to master including painting cabins, cutting firewood, light duty cleaning, light groundskeeping, all aspects of hotel room repair and troubleshooting.
Also responsible for monthly maintenance rounds, (Checking on hot water tanks, boilers, washing machines, refrigeration and filtration systems)
Daily checks of utility systems on property.

Qualifications and Skills

The varied and time sensitive tasks for this position require a strong desire to complete tasks
Good interpersonal skills are necessary because there are many staff members who you interact with
Ability to work rain or shine and walk for long periods of time as well as lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation

Wage: $17/hour plus bonuses.
Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.
Completion Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent.
Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.
