The position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their store, ensuring that the customer and employee experience is engaging and authentic. Their role includes identifying and executing initiatives to grow revenue, customer engagement, and employee performance so their location performs to its maximum potential. The store, the team and the experiences within reflect the culture and values of Rocky, always.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

Consistently leading by example: demonstrating personal customer service and selling skills aligned with Rocky's service standards and expectations
Ensure the growth and development of a local customer base by engaging with the community, sourcing opportunities to further build brand awareness and generally finding ways to share the good word about Rocky
Address customer concerns and complaints readily and with intent to exceed what's expected
Lead and motivate the store team and consistently set the example of demonstration and living by the Rocky’s core values
Coach, guide and genuinely connect with the team, providing consistent and thoughtful feedback
Ensure overall accuracy of inventory in-store as well as ensuring all inventory management processes are completed
Report quality issues in a timely manner and ensure all products on sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation
Ensure profitability of the store location through management of all controllable aspects
Lead the store in all sustainability efforts and initiatives
Actively lead and coach all team members to drive revenue and performance metrics

A flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position requires availability of 40 hours per week, including at least two closing shifts per week and availability on three weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
