Reports To: Vice-President

Position Overview:

Working in Jasper, Alberta for both Ski Marmot Basin and the Jasper Skytram, the Marketing Coordinator supports a busy marketing and sales team in a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to: implementation of marketing campaigns, programs and promotions, attendance at trade and consumer shows, event execution, community activation, database management and coordination of ongoing communication efforts. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Job Duties:
Develop, coordinate, execute and document marketing campaigns and promotions.
Collect data on target demographics and analyze market trends.
Track and report on sales data.
Assist the Creative Content and Communications Producer (CCCP) with the tasks related to communication, social media, website content and data management.
Assist the Vice President with daily tasks and correspondence.
Assist with the development and implementation of social media and digital advertising programs.
Work with the Business Development Manager to maintain and grow industry partnerships.
Attend trade and consumer shows and promotional events.
Maintain promotional materials inventory including photo and video assets.
Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and build email automation campaigns.
Liaise internally and externally in the development of digital media campaigns and production of advertising materials.
Conduct monthly analytics reporting related to marketing campaigns and strategies.
Assist with media visits and FAM tours.
Keep the Marmot Basin, Jasper Skytram and Jasper Riding Stables websites up to date.
Take and organize still photo and video assets.

Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or associated fields or equivalent experience
Proven two (2) to four (4) years of related experience

Strong understanding of digital media platforms (i.e. Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Blogs and Consumer Email)
Strong proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Email Marketing platforms and principles
Solid photography skills
Strong intermediate to advanced level skier or snowboarder (for assignments on the hill).
