Pentco Industries is a leader in the kitchen cabinet door industry providing laminate, melamine, thermofoil and painted doors to the single and multifamily industry. We operate out of an 88,000 square foot facility and have been in business since 1979. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and grow our business on the West Coast.

Function:

Call on existing accounts as well as prospect for new accounts. Maintain an accurate database; provide insight related to market trends, competitive pricing, and new product opportunities. Develop a strong professional relationship with key decision makers.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Comfortable in cold calling customers.
Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical expertise as needed.
Maintain a minimum of 4 calls per day
Follow up emails after the call is essential to ensure effective customer communication
Determine market share by customer and product type.
Maintain a current customer database
Follow up on projects and communicate with purchasing to ensure we have material on order to meet start dates.
Complete a monthly call / mileage report with detailed information regarding each call and distance travelled.
Participate and prepare for sales meetings as requested by management.
Meet and exceed sales goals established by management.
Work with the cross functional teams to develop a culture of understanding, efficiency and improvement.
Maintain a vehicle that is in good running order and presentable to customers.
Must be willing to travel 30% of the time and work trade shows as requested by management.
Alberta and the Okanagan in BC.
Additional Duties:

· Perform any duty requested by the President, Sales manager or Owners

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Building Products Industry

· A college / community degree with 5 years of industry experience will be considered more favorably than sales experience alone.

· Self-driven, motivated and results oriented

· Must have moderate ability to operate in Microsoft word /excel/ power point

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with, co-workers and management.

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
